HuatLui Support
HuatLui is an investment portfolio tracking companion for Android. For troubleshooting, first check that your app is up to date, and export a portfolio backup before making major changes to your records.
Reporting an issue
Please include your Android version, HuatLui version, what you were doing and the error message. Never post passwords, brokerage account numbers, private transactions or portfolio backup files in a public issue report.
Common questions
- Why is my profit/loss unexpected? Check past trades, fees, account assignment and quantities. HuatLui uses weighted-average cost accounting.
- Will price alerts notify me in the background? Not yet. They appear in the Holdings screen based on the last fetched price.
- Can I place orders with What-if Buy or What-if Sell? No. Both simulators are read-only scenarios.
- Can I move my portfolio to a new phone? Use the portfolio JSON backup and restore features. Keep the backup private.
